Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas-3 virtual launch weekend

Join us on Saturday April 24 and Sunday April 25, 2021 to launch the first year of the third Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas (Atlas-3)! The sessions scheduled throughout the weekend will provide volunteers with everything they need to know about atlassing and how they can get involved in Atlas-3. Session topics include: Beginner and advanced atlassing, youth involvement, how to submit data, documenting significant species, and more!

Separate registration is required for each day of the launch weekend so make sure you are registering for the desired day(s). On the registration page you will have the option to choose which session(s) you would like to attend, you do not need to commit to the full day of activities to register.

More information about each session can be viewed in the full schedule listed below.

Atlas-3 is a partnership between five organizations: Birds Canada, Canadian Wildlife Service (Environment and Climate Change Canada), Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry – Government of Ontario, Ontario Field Ornithologists, and Ontario Nature.
