Media Submission

The Atlas uses media submitted here for outreach and other events as needed and to develop a pool of images for use in the final published products.

Have multiple files to share?

Great! You can send us a link to a cloud folder (e.g. Dropbox or Google Drive). Before you send your batch, please submit at least one file with the media submission form below and specify that the Atlas has permission to use the media you will send as a batch. Please identify the subject of each media file by including your name and the species as the file name (e.g., TreeSwallow_JohnSmith.jpeg). Send the link to download your images to atlas@birdsontario.org and specify that it is a batch media submission in the subject line.

Photos for the final publication!

For the final product, we need high quality images of all 300 species of birds that breed in the province, taken during the breeding season. We are especially interested in images that depict breeding behaviours. See photos below for examples of what we’re looking for!
